Life is going pretty good today

How can you get help from this when it’s religion and religious people that’s hurt you? That when you try to press into God and you go to church you whole body hurts, you get headaches and it’s painful just walking into a church full of people that love and care for you. That all the pain and hurt doesn’t let you trust anyone in the church, because you’re so afraid they’ll use your pain to hurt you. That when someone you love comes back to know the Lord, just that person loving God hurts you. It’s not me, this for someone I love and I want set free from all her pain, but I’m not allowed to tell anyone about her pain or ask anyone to pray for her. I know I have God to reach out to, but talking with and elder would be so helpful, but I’m not allowed to, because that would hurt the her.

Sometimes you have forgiven the person who hurt you, but you’re still vulnerable to triggers. I believe it’s possible to live the entirety of your life, carrying the sorrow of what happened to you. It never goes away even though you have forgiven. I cling to Jesus as my source for understanding and unconditional, supernatural love.

I go to church regularly but I don’t have a lot of friends. I just don’t seem to keep people in my life. I honestly think it’s because I have relied too much on people in my past. I have been very codependent and I believe that God allows me to be alone because he wants me to be more dependent on him.
